Group Training

Our strength and conditioning classes incorporate strength training, conditioning, functional training, structural balance work, increasing knowledge on healthy lifestyle and behaviour habits to support your wellness, and more. Expect to have fun, train with an amazing community, and to be supported and guided by knowledgeable coaches.

Class Flow

What to expect in a group class:

  • All classes are 60 minutes and run by a certified Westside coach

  • Please show up 5-10 minutes before class with workout gear and some water

  • Coach will start the class by taking the group through a warmup

  • Coach will then continue to guide you through the class by demoing the movements, explaining what to do for each portion of the session, and giving you constant cue’s, corrections, and feedback

  • The group does the workout together

  • The coach then takes you through a cool down

Getting Started

All new clients begin with the “Get Started package” before joining regular group classes. This includes:

  • 3 private sessions with a certified Westside Coach. Sessions are 60 minutes and can be booked at anytime. Email us 

  • Learning and practicing the skills needed to enter group classes.

  • Conditioning workouts

  • Body composition testing

  • Emailed results and analysis of body composition testing with nutritional and lifestyle suggestions

  • 3 complimentary classes that can be used once you finish the private sessions. These can be used within 4 weeks from your first private session

  • Price: $299 plus tax

Who We Are

Westside has a dedicated team of qualified coaches who are passionate about helping each client reach their health and fitness goals. Westside was established in 2008 by Jenika Gordon who has over 15+ years as a strength and conditioning coach.

We love our community! Our community is diverse, smart, fun, funny, a bit crazy:), all ages and all levels of fitness. Our youngest client is 13 years old and our oldest client is 75 years old. Our clients come to Westside with no training in weightlifting or sport, to some training with weights and conditioning, or with experienced training.

You do not need any experience to start training. It does not matter where you start, it only matters that you start. That is why you got us! We will teach you all you need to know to move efficiently, effectively and safely so you can progress and see results weekly and yearly.
